The new promoted Team Barau Fc has ended their first matches against Enyimba international Fc goalless draw in the opening game of the Nigeria Premiere League 2025/2026 Season, played at Sani Abacha Stadium Kano with over twenty thousand spectators and Supporters.
The Maliya Boys as fondly known create numerous chance towards ending of the match but were denied by Enyimbaboys In his post match analysis, Barau Fc Technical Adviser, Coach Ladan Boso, said normally the first four matches of the league used to come with little difficulties against ones plan, but saluted the gallantry efforts of Barau Boys.
Adding that “It’s a match we look at it as operation no compromise but football did what it did, we just need to appreciate the Fans and the Supporters with their rousing encouragement through out the match time.
Meanwhile, from the other Arenas,Warri Wolves secured a one goal to nil against Katsina United, Wikki Tourist Fc defeated Plateau United by one goal to nil and also Kun Khalifat Fc and Enugu Rangers ended goalless draw.Also Ikorodu city hold Kwara United goalless draw, Elkanemi defeats Bendel two goals to nil and Bayelsa United secured away win, one nil against Shooting Stars.
