Traditional Title holders and Dambatta local government council had been called upon to forward public basic needs to state government for Rural development plan in 2026 fiscal year.
The Commissioner for Rural and community development,Dr Abdulkadir Abdussalam gave the advice while addressing traditional leaders on the state government initiave held at Dambatta District Head Palace.
The commissioner who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Alhaji Musbahu Badawi said, the visit was aimed tlat seeking public basic needs for data, budget preparation,joint projects and federal government interventions for the benefit of rural dwellers in a Press Release issued by the Zonal Information Officer Tasi’u Jibo Dawanau and made available to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
Dr. Abdulkadir Abdussalam advised the participants and Local Government Council to provide accurate information on public needs within the stipulated time for prompt action.
In his remark, the Council Chairman Alhaji Jamilu Abubakar Dambatta who was represented by the Vice Chairman of the Council Alhaji Sadik Abubakar Fagwalawa called on the state government to construct feeder road from Dambatta to Gwarabjawa through Sansan to Kore and Fagwalawa areas as a means of improving socioeconomic development of the teaming populace of the area.
He further appealed to the government to construct feeder roads from Gawon Bature in Makoda Local Government Area through Marini village and Gwanda And another one from Dambatta to Fayam-fayam as well as erosion control projects at Dambatta and Saidawa Areas He also appealed to the State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf’s approval for the recruitment of additional Teaching staff as a gateway to ensure quality control in Education industry.
The District Head of Dambatta Dr Mansur Mukhtar who was represented by Alhaji Baba Ado Mukhtar assured of the traditional leaders cooperation towards provision of viable and accurate information on public basic needs to the local council for Sustainable development of the area.
