The Dambatta Local Government Legislative Council has suspended the Supervisory Councillor for Water, Environment, Sanitation, and Hygiene department Aminu Kabiru Isah, for a period of three months, with immediate effect.
This decision was announced by the House Leader of the Dambatta Legislative Council and Councillor representing Gwarabjawa Ward, Shamsu Ubale, during the Legislative council session held on Monday, 22nd September 2025, at the Local Government Secretariat in Dambatta town and was made available in a Press Released signed and sent to thetentaclesnews.com.ng by the Zonal Information Officer,Tasi’u Jibo Dawanau
According to House Leader Shamsu Ubale, the suspension follows serious allegations of breaching government confidentiality involving the aforementioned Supervisory Councillor.
A committee has been established to thoroughly investigate the allegations and submit a report for further action.
The House Leader further stated that the suspension was unanimously approved by all the ten elected councillors representing the ten political wards of Dambatta Local Government Area.
