Declare your Assets to CCB now…KNSG to new Political Appointees

In a bid to promote transparency and accountability in governance, Kano State Government has directed political appointees recently appointed to immediately declare their assets with the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

The directive was given by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Umar Faruk Ibrahim today at the ongoing Special Capacity Building for top government functionaries holding in Kaduna as revealed by Sani Surajo Abubakar a Deputy Director, Public Enlightenment in the Government House of Kano State to thetentaclesnews.com.ng

Alhaji Umar Faruk Ibrahim said that the move was aimed at ensuring that public officials are transparent on their financial dealings and assets, thereby preventing potential conflicts of interest and promoting good governance.

” All the political appointees recently appointed by Kano State Government are directed to immediately declare their assets with the Code of Conduct Bureau,” said the SSG

He maintained that by asset declaration, political appointees demonstrate their commitment to upholding the principles of good governance which aligned with incumbent administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf of prudence and accountability..

Maintaining that the Governor is demonstrating high sense of commitment to upholding the principles of good governance and ensuring that public officials are held to high standards of integrity.
