In a bid to boost agricultural production for 2025 farming season, the member representing Bagwai/Shanono Federal Constituency in Kano State, Hon Yusuf Ahmad Badau has distributed bags fertilizers free to his constituents in Bagwai and Shanono local government areas in a statement issued by his media aide Sagir Abdullahi Kwanar Hukuma and made available to the tentaclesnews.com.ng
Distributing the fertilizer to farmers in the two local government areas, Hon Yusuf Ahmad Badau said the move was part of his commitment to boost agricultural production in the Constituency.He therefore advised beneficiaries to make judicious use of the agricultural inputs as towards achieving food security and massive production which is in tandem with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda on agriculture.
The Federal Legislator further assured farmers in his constituency that more Agricultural inputs would be provided towards achieving self sufficiency in food production.
In their separate remarks, APC chairmen of Bagwai and Shanono local government areas, Alh Suleiman Danladi Bagwai and Alh Isiya Sheme of Shanono commended the member for the gesture and promised that the fertilizer would reach every political wards in the Constituency.
The representative of ICPC and his counterpart from the Federal College of Agriculture, Minna, Niger state, Baba Tanimu praised the lawmaker for his humanitarian gesture to his Constituents.
The Director General in the office of the Legislator in Abuja Alh Mahmud Isa Bagwai called on people in Bagwai and Shanono local government areas to rally round the member for more dividends of democracy to their doorstep.
Some of the beneficiaries of the free fertilizer distribution expressed appreciation on the gesture and promised to make the best use of the fertilizers to improve their yield.
