With deep appreciation and national pride, I wish to sincerely commend the gallant officers and men of the Nigerian Army for their outstanding operation in the Rijau axis, where they bravely eliminated scores of bandits and successfully blocked their attempt to invade and overpower Rijau town.

Your courage, professionalism, and tactical brilliance forced the criminals to flee for their lives, while several were captured through your swift and coordinated efforts. This heroic achievement has restored peace, confidence, and hope among our people, truly, you have once again proven that the Nigerian Army remains a symbol of courage, integrity, and national defense.

I extend special commendation and heartfelt recommendation to the Commanding Officer of Kontagora Barrack, the Commander of Rijau Camp and his personnel, the Warari Camp Commander and his team, as well as the officers and men of Zuru Barrack for their tireless commitment, bravery, and seamless collaboration that led to this success.

Equally, I deeply appreciate the Nigerian Air Force for their timely surveillance and reconnaissance operations, which provided vital intelligence and enhanced the precision of the ground troops’ engagement.

This victory is not just a military success, it is a message of hope, resilience, and healing for our people. The courage and sacrifice of our security personnel continue to inspire confidence in the fight against banditry and other forms of criminality.

I therefore urge the Nigerian Army and all security agencies to sustain this momentum, intensify their operations, and continue working tirelessly until total peace and security are restored across Niger North and every part of our dear country.

May Almighty God continue to bless, strengthen, and protect our patriotic forces as they defend the nation with honor and dedi
