The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Special Services AVM Ibrahim Umaru rtd, has expressed satisfaction on the ongoing second batch security training for VIP guard trainees being held at Gabasawa Corporate Security Institute.
The Commissioner made the remarks through the Director administration and General Services and Acting Permanent secretary in the Ministry,Mal Habibu Kofar mazugal, when he led the management team for an inspection visit to the Institute in a communication issued by Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry Muhd Dahir Idris sent to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
The Commissioner noted with appreciation the level of commitment demonstrated by the training instructors and as well as the disciplinary nature of the trainees.
He reminded the trainees that the Kano State Government is highly committed towards improving their morale, and welfare, and urged them to pay more attention to the training for better results.
On arrival at the training ground, the inspection team, was received and conducted round facilities of the Institute by the retired RSM Abba Dahiru, where he revealed that a total of 262 personnel are undergoing the training which is expected to round up this coming Sunday.
Retired RSM Abba Dahiru, told the inspection team that the trainees were found to be very disciplined and orderly and are responding rapidly with the training, hoping that they will yield positive result.
The inspection team the kitchen and monitored the quality and quantity of the meals, as well as the hygienic nature of the food,kitchen and the staff (cooks).
They also visited the dining hall, hostel and toilet, were some observations were made for possible correction
