Every Girl Child in Kano must have access to quality Education…Deputy Governor GWARZO

Kano State government has reiterated its unwavering commitment towards advancing girl-child education and ensuring equal access to quality learning opportunities across the State.

The State Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo made this known in special conference organized by Bridge Connect Africa Initiative in collaboration with the Kano State Ministry of Education, held at Bayero University, Kano (BUK).

The conference, focused on strengthening policies and partnerships that promote girl-child education, which brought together key stakeholders in the Education Sector and deliberates on effective strategies for improving enrolment,retention, and academic performance of girls in schools in a statement issued by the Information Officer attached to the Office of the Deputy Governor, Yusuf Abubakar Ibrahim sent to therentaclesnews.com.ng

The session witnessed the attendance of the Commissioner for Education Ali Haruna Makoda, and other key officials in Education industry, who are actively contributing to the implementation of educational reforms in the State.

Comrade Gwarzo commended Bridge Connect Africa for its collaborative efforts with the Kano State Government, emphasizing that empowering Girls through education remains a critical step towards achieving sustainable development and social transformation.

The session was round off,with reaffirmation by the State Government’s resolve to continue partnering with development organizations and stakeholders to strengthen educational advancement in Kano State.
