Jigawa State Government has donated ten Toyota Hilux vehicles to the Nigeria Police Force as part of its unwavering commitments towards strengthening Security of lives and properties of the citizens in the State.
The gesture reinforces the State government committements towards sefeguarding the people of the State
While handing over the vehicles the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State Malam Bala Ibrahim said the initiative aligned with Danmodi administration’s priority of ensuring peaceful coexistence in the State
Adding that ” it is our constitutional and moral responsibility to do whatever possible to secure the safety of lives and property of the citizens, ensuring their safety is the fundamental essence of government”
Nine vehicles where handed over to the Commissioner of Police Muhammad Dahiru, while one vehicle was presented to the Assistant Commissioner of Police Baba Haruna, Squadron Commander of the 35 Police Mobile Force,Dutse in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, Office of the Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, Isma’il Ibrahim Dutse sent to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
While responding, CP Muhammed Dahiru expressed gratitude to the state government and assured that the vehicles would be effectively utilized to strengthen security operations.
It could be recalled that Jigawa State is one of the most peaceful States in the federation and it remains dedicated towards supporting security agencies with the necessary resources to combat crime and ensure the safety of its residents.
