The Jigawa State Police Command formally expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Mal Umar A Namadi for donating ten (10) brand new Toyota Hilux patrol vehicles to the Command.
The presentation ceremony took place at the office of the to the Government of Jigawa State Dutse, where the vehicles were officially handed over to the Commissioner of Police, CP Dahiru Muhammad in a statement by the Command’s Spokeperson Shi’isu Lawan Adam to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
The statement added that the donation underscores the unwavering commitment of the Jigawa State Government towards enhancing security and supporting the Nigeria Police Force in its mandate to protect lives and property across the state.
The Commissioner of Police commended the state government for the timely intervention, noting that the additional patrol vehicles will greatly improve response time to distress calls and enhance the command’s operational effectiveness within the state.
He further assured the government and good people of Jigawa State that the vehicles will be deployed judiciously and maintained properly to ensure effective policing. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to sustaining peace, law, and order, while fostering stronger collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders’ engagement.
