Abba Kabir Yusuf donated vehicles to Kano Pillars and Sports Commission

The Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has presented six official vehicles — three to the Kano Pillars Football Club and three to the Kano State Sports Commission — as part of his administration’s ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and sports development in the state.

Speaking during the presentation ceremony, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, commended the kind gesture of the Governor for his continuous support towards advancing sporting activities in Kano.

In his remarks, the Secretary to the Kano State Government, Umar F. Ibrahim urged the beneficiaries to ensure proper maintenance of the vehicles, stressing that they are a public trust meant to enhance service delivery, not for personal use.

After the formal handover, the vehicle keys were presented to the Commissioner by the Secretary to the State Government.

The Chairman of the Kano State Sports Commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the donation, describing it as a timely intervention that will greatly enhance the Commission’s operational efficiency. He assured that the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development remains committed to sustaining progress and excellence across all sporting activities in the state.
