Executive Chairman of Kano State Shari’ah Commission, Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji has remainded Muslim Ummah to always adhere to Prophetic Teachings as a gateway towards present predicaments that we found ourselves.
The Chairman stated this during Gifts presentations to some Female Students of the State Islamiyya Schools who excelled in competition of History and Eulogy of the Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him organized by the state government.
Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji said organizing such competition was a well thought because of the good virtues to learn from the life of the Prophet Peace be Upon Him in his relationship with family, companions, and even with Non Muslim.
The Executive Chairman of the Commission then reminded the Qur’anic and Islamiyya Scholars of the pivotal role they are expected to play in their relationship with their students as Guardians and role model in Qur’anic Education and Tradition of Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wa’ahlihi Wasallam for them to excel in life.
On the part of recipients Sheik Abbas advised them to redouble efforts in seeking Islamic Knowledge to further widen their horizons on Islamic History.
Sadiya Abdullahi, Khadija Abdulkadir, Khadija Umar who won the first, second, and third position received the gifts of sewing machines, while Fatima Habibu and Aisha Muhammad emerged fourth and fifth position respectively received the gifts of weaving machines.
In her remarks on behalf of the beneficiaries Malama Fatima Habibu appreciated the gesture of the state government through the Shari’ah Commission, said they will keep on pursuing the Islamic Knowledge with a view to further improve their lives and that of their children and general public.
