CNG tricycle operations to be trains by KAROTA

Kano Road and Traffic Agency has pledged to train members of the CNG tricycle commercial operators, better known as NATOROMOS, on the proper management of CNG tricycles.

The Managing Director, Honourable Faisal Mahmoud, made the pledge when members of the association, paid a courtesy visit in his office.

He appreciated the move by the leadership of the association in securing the allocation of 50 CNG tricycles to augment the existing fleet of tricycles operating in the state.

He congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to make optimum use of the tricycles for maximum benefit.

Faisal Mahmoud said that although 50 tricycles may appear to be inadequate in view of the large population of the state, it is nonetheless a step in the right direction.

The Managing Director then pledged to organise a special training for the CNG tricyclists on proper management and adherence to traffic management and regulations

Earlier, the Chairman of the association, Muhammad Sani Hassan, represented by Muhammad Yau Kofar Nassarawa, said they were at KAROTA to intimate the Managing Director about the allocation of the 50 CNG tricycles secured from the Federal Government on a hire-purchase basis and called for the support and cooperation of KAROTA in ensuring effective management of the fleet for the benefit of commuters.

He commended KAROTA management for their continuous support to the association in all its activities.
