When my two pioneer works on LEADERSHIP were published on January 25 and 27 respectively and enlisted on www.amazon.com I was confronted with the stark reality that people do not just read.Knowledge is a primary requirement for life and civilization whereas food only keeps us alife while shelter and clothing are only covers.Here is the mystery to knowledge.
What knowledge you posses determine what skill-set you deploy with that knowledge as your tool for engagement. The level of your development is a pointer to what may be of interest to you as well.Reading has nothing implacable with any race, color or environment, rather it is driven by the conscious levels of pro-active development of a people which propel them to further acquisitions of knowledge and civilization.
Progress does not drive knowledge, rather, knowledge itself, serves as its driver to human civilization.It is not about any other thing else, what you read but a deliberate action of self development in particular and society in general.It is what it is, that reading for knowledge is a hard task. Until, we prioritize knowledge, the fallacy will persist that Africa and Black man does not read and that the safest place to hide a key against slavery is in a book.
