DSS BOSS Supports the Needy with token to start Business in Babura LGA of Jigawa State

The Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, has donated the sum of ₦500,000 to ten (10) needy persons in Babura Local Government Area of Jigawa State with each beneficiary receiving ₦50,000.

While presenting the financial support to the beneficiaries, the DSS Area Commander in Babura, Adamu Abdullahi, explained that the gesture was part of a personal Initiatives of the Director-General aimed at assisting less privileged individuals in society in a statement by the Local Government Information Officer Suleman Daudu Babura sent to thetentaclesnews.com.ng

He stated that the ten beneficiaries were carefully selected based on merit and were given the support to help them either start micro business or to improve their small-scale businesses.

Abdullahi further revealed that similar humanitarian gestures by the Director-General are being extended across all the 774 Local Government Areas in the country.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Babura Local Government, Hamisu Muhammad Garu, represented by Imam Hassan Sabo Musa, expressed gratitude and commended the kind gesture of the DSS boss describing her as a compassionate leader with a heart for the poor.

Garu urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds by investing them in productive ventures that would improve their livelihoods and that of their families.
