The NPFL has confirmed that about 70 standout players from the just-concluded 2024/25 NPFL Youth Championship have been invited to camp ahead of the formation of the first-ever NPFL Youth Team.The Youth Championship was staged across three zones to include Ikenne, Isiala-Ngwa, and Kano with scouts carefully handpicking the best prospects.
The invited players will report for a 2-week training camp scheduled for October 4–17, 2025, in either Ogun State or Abuja, where they will undergo further assessments.
The NPFL noted that from pool, only 20 players will eventually be selected to form the official NPFL Youth Team.
On behalf of the State Government,the Club, Players and Supporters, the Chairman/ Supervising Coordinator Alh Surajo Umar Dalibi congratulated the invited players and wish them success while representing the state darling Team Katsina United Fc.
