Ghari local government has equipped a new fire service office with modern equipment to enhance firefighting efforts in the area. This initiative arises from the collaboration between the state government and the local council to safeguard lives and properties as revealed by the Information Officer of the Area,Shibli Rabi’u Sabon Titi
During the inauguration, the Chairman of Ghari Local Government, Hon. Hashimu Garba Mai Sabulu, represented by Nasiru Sale Baraha, Supervisory Councilor of Agriculture and Natural Resources thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his support and provision of modern equipment that will boost the service of fire brigade personnel in saving lives and properties in the State.
He said the office will help reduce loss of lives and properties caused by fire outbreaks. Nasiru also expressed gratitude to the chairman of the Council over his dedication in establishing the office.
While delivering Speech the Head of the Station Abdulmalik Abubakar, highlighted the importance of the new office and urged the public to exercise caution while using fire and other flammable to prevent fire outbreak He also called on local leaders and neighborhood heads to educate the community about fire prevention.
