The Executive Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Mani Tsoho (PhD), has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the standard of education, particularly for the girl-child, through the ongoing renovation works at Government Girls’ Technical and Science Secondary School (GGTOSS) NITEL, Sabuwar Unguwa, Gwarzo.
Speaking during an inspection visit, Dr. Tsoho emphasized that education remains the backbone of societal progress, stressing that his administration will continue to prioritize the welfare and future of young girls by ensuring they learn in a conducive environment.
He noted that the renovation project, which covers classrooms, laboratories, and other key facilities, is a deliberate step aimed at creating equal opportunities for girls to thrive academically and socially.
“The empowerment of our girls begins with quality education. By providing them with the right facilities, we are laying a solid foundation for the future of Gwarzo and Kano State at large,” Dr. Tsoho stated.
Community leaders, teachers, and parents who witnessed the ongoing works commended the Chairman’s foresight, describing the project as a beacon of hope for the people of Gwarzo.
The Council further assured that similar interventions will be extended to other schools across the Local Government, as part of its broader agenda to uplift the educational sector and empower the next generation.
