On the efforts of Bauchi State government to comply with Auctions procedures and other related services it has sent a high-powered delegation to study the procedure for conducting auction exercises of government properties to Jigawa State.
The Chairman of the fact-finding team, Abdon Dalla Gin, who is also the Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Civil Service Matters and a former Head of the Civil Service in Bauchi State, made this disclosure when he led members of the team to the office of the Jigawa State Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri in a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Office of Head of Civil Service, Jigawa State, Isma’ila Ibrahim Dutse which was made available to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
Abdon Dalla said the visit focused on the procedure for conducting auctions of government properties, both moveable and immoveable, in accordance with existing regulations in Jigawa State.
The Special Adviser emphasized that Bauchi State aimed to adopt effective models from Jigawa to enhance transparency and accountability in area of Auctioning of public properties both movable and immoveable
While responding, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri praised the decision to study the auction procedures, noting that it is a positive step that other states should emulate.
He assured the Bauchi team of his full support to achieved the desired objectives.
