Kano State Roads Traffic Agency KAROTA has assured public of its readiness to collaborate with Kano State Corporate Security Institute, Gabasawa in the training of its personnel for effective performance.
The Managing Director of the Agency, Faisal Mahmud Kabir gave the assurance when the new Commandant of the Institute, Capt Bello Muhammad Maigaskiya, paid him a courtesy visit in his office Faisal Mahmud Kabir assured that the Agency would continue to give priority to the training and re-training of its personnel to cope with modern challenges in discharging their duties as revealed by the Spokesperson of the Agency, Abubakar Ibrahim Sharada
He then Congratulated the new Commandant on his appointment and wished him successful tenure.
The KAROTA Boss further urged the staff who will benefit from the training to make the best use of the opportunity for their own progress.
Earlier, the Commandant of the Institute, Capt Bello Muhammad Gaskiya told the Managing Director that he was at the Agency to discuss ways of mutual benefits between the two organizations.Capt.Bello Maigaskiya explained that the Institute is now better equipped with modern equipments for the training of Paramilitary personnel in accordance with the world’s best practices.
He commended Kano State Governor Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf for reviving the institute which has suffered neglect in the past eight years, but now can compete with its counterpart within and outside Nigeria.He appreciated the move by the Managing Director Faisal Mahmud Kabir to partner with the Institute in the training of its personnel.Capt. Bello Maigaskiya assured of the readiness of the Institute to give quality training to Roads Marshalls for efficient service delivery.
