The CP assures the public of the Command improved security arrangements to ensure a serene, hitch-free celebration across the State. The Command wishes to remind all residents that violent behaviors including thuggery (_Fadan Yan Daba_), armed robbery, and extortion, will not be tolerated under any disguise.
The CP issues a stern warning to individuals to desist from any act that could disrupt the peace of the State during the festivity. The Command’s Surveillance Units and Operatives have been charged and deployed, and troubleshooters will be swiftly identified, apprehended, and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
The Commissioner of Police calls on the good people of Kano State to use this festive period to offer prayers for sustainable peace and security, which are essential for the social and economic development of the State and Nigeria at large. On the same vein the CP appreciates the understanding, support, and cooperation of residents and reaffirms the Command’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the protection of lives and property in Kano State.
