The Kano Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has taken a giant steps towards strengthening security in Kano State by deepening its collaboration with security operatives like National Cadet Corps (NCC).
The Managing Director of KAROTA Faisal Mahmud made this known while receiving State Coordinator of NCC Kano Command, Khalid Gambo Muhammad, who led a team of senior NCC officials to meet the KAROTA’s Managing Director.
The meeting focused on enhancing youth training programs and developing a pool of skilled personnel to support traffic management and security operations across the state in a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Agency Abubakar Ibrahim Sharada sent to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
Deputy State Coordinator Hamza Lamido and management leaders of NCC reaffirmed commitment towards ensuring trained and skilled human resources and continuous support to government agencies like KAROTA.
Speaking at the meeting,Faisal Mahmud Kabir praised the NCC for its significant role in youth development and instilling patriotism in the mind of younger generations
He assured that KAROTA will soon recruits new personnel immediately government approved it while promising that the agency will continue to create opportunities for NCC graduates.
The Agency emphasized that this partnership marks a critical step toward improving public safety, fostering efficient traffic management, and enhancing community well-being in Kano.
Later the National Cadet Corps, State Coordinator Alhaji Khalid Gambo Muhammad honored the Managing Director Faisal Mahmud Kabir with an award of recognition considering his unprecedented approaches in transforming the State traffic architecture which greatly is reducing road crashes along the major and minor roads in the State
