KTSG disbursed 9.6m to Football Clubs within Katsina Metropolis.

On its drive to encourage talented home based players,Katsina State Government has distributed Nine million six hundred thousand naia to sixty Football Clubs participating in the state super league.

The benefiting clubs are drawn from the three categories of the state super league which includes Divisions one, two, and three.

Speaking before the disbursement of the funds, the State Secretary of the Football Association (F.A.), Muhammad Musa Saulawa, expressed gratitude to the State Governor, Mal Dikko Umaru Radda, for approving and providing the funds to the clubs.

Muhammad Musa Saulawa noted that the money was provided to support the efforts of the Clubs participating in the State Super Leagues.

The State F.A. secretary acknowledged the commitments of the State Governor, Mal Dikko Umaru Radda; the commissioner of sports, Aliyu Lawal Zakari; and the Executive Director of the State Sports Council, Abdu Bello Rawayau, for their concerns towards promoting sporting activities in the state.

He urged the participating Clubs to remain supportive of Government policies and programs and to also contribute their quarter to the development of football and Sports at all levels.
