The Kano State Commissioner of Environment and Climate Change, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim, has officially commissioned the Lungu Kal-Kal project at Layin Dan’isa Yakasai Quarters in Kano Municipal Local Government Area.

The commissioning ceremony marks a significant milestone in the State Government’s urban renewal program, aimed at improving the infrastructure and living conditions of the people.

During his remarks, Dr. Dahir Muhammad Hashim stated that the Lungu Kal-Kal project is part of the government’s efforts to enhance the urban landscape and provide better facilities for the residents.The project is expected to benefit the residents of Yakasai Quarters and surrounding communities, improving drainage, reducing flooding, and enhancing overall quality of life.

The Commissioner expressed gratitude to the people of Yakasai Quarters for their patience and cooperation during the project’s implementation. He assured the residents of the government’s continued commitment to improving their living conditions.

The Lungu Kal-Kal project is a testament to the Kano State Government’s dedication to urban renewal and development. The government remains committed to delivering projects that positively impact the lives of its citizens.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including Kano Municipal Council Chairman, Salim Hashim; Sarkin Yakin Kano, Alhaji Mujittaba Abubakar Abba; Ag. Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, QS Shazali Garba Fagge; Aminu Gidado, Project Coordinator Acresal; and NNPP supporters.
