A Medical Doctor was abducted at Uruagu, Nnewi, in Nnewi North Local Government Area of the State as reported by the Anambra State Police Command.
According to Police Source,preliminary information revealed that the incident occurred on 30th October 2025, when an unidentified assailants reportedly abducted the victim under yet-to-be-ascertained circumstances in a Press Statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Command Tochukwu IKENGA sent to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
The Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu instantly ordered for the launch of an intensive investigation and directed the tactical teams of the Command to ensure the safe rescue of the victim and apprehension of the perpetrators.
The Command assures members of the public of its unwavering commitments in protecting lives and properties of the citizens thereby assuring them that effort is being made to ensure the swift resolution of the Case.
The Commissioner then calls on residents, especially in Nnewi and environs, to remain calm, vigilant, and supportive of the Police by providing credible information that could assist in the investigation.
