The Executive Chairman of Nassarawa Local Government and Deputy of Algon Kano Central, Amb. Hon. Yusuf Shuaibu Imam Ogan Boye, has invested over ₦314 million in the General renovation of local government secretariat and construction of key infrastructure projects across the LGA as hinted to thetentaclesnews.com.ng by the Information Officer of the Area Sharif Zaharadden Usman Kofar Nasarawa
These efforts was aimed to improve education, sanitation, and drainage systems for the benefit of residents.Key projects executed include: Renovation of a block of 3 classrooms, Head Teacher’s office, and construction of a female staff toilet at Hotoro North Special Primary School.Completion of a two-storey block of classrooms at GSS Kaura Goje.Construction of drainage, crossing slabs, and laterite fillings at Ogoja Line, Kaura Goje, and Dankabi Street, Gwagwarwa.Construction and elevation of the perimeter fence at Holborn Primary School, Dawakin Dakata Ward.
Many other developmental projects were also completed under his leadership to improve living conditions and infrastructure within the local government area.
The Chairman was represented during a project inspection by the Secretary of the Local Government, Hon. Ado Muhammad Hotoro, and the Acting Director of Personnel Management. Alh Dahiru Sabo Faragai
The inspection was conducted under the supervision of the Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor on Ministry for Local Government and chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Bashir Abubakar Yari.During the inspection, Amb. Yusuf Shuaibu Imam Ogan Boye commended the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the timely release of funds which enabled the successful execution of these projects. He urged the people of Nassarawa LGA to support and re-elect the Governor in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
In his remarks, Hon. Bashir Abubakar Yari appreciated the quality of work completed and urged beneficiaries to maintain the facilities as they are essential to community development and societal well-being.
