PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD PLEDGES TO WORK WITH THE FEDERAL AIRPORTS AUTHORITY.

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has pledged the Board’s commitment to collaborate with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) with a view to enhance operations at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, who was represented by the Director of Hajj Operations, Alhaji Muhammad Ghali Muhammad, made this known during a visit to the office of the Regional General Manager of the Airport today in a Press Statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Board, Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi to thetentacles news.com.ng

He stated that, in line with the Board’s commitment during the last Hajj operations, the Board intends to partner in the renovation of the mosque located at the Fire Service section of the airport.Alhaji Muhammad Ghali further assured that the Board will continue to provide support to ensure the smooth and successful operations of the Airport.

While responding, the Regional General Manager of Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Alhaji Ahmadu Danjuma, commended the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board for its intervention.He also announced that the Hajj Terminal of the airport will be fully renovated before the commencement of this year’s pilgrims’ airlift by the Federal Government.Alhaji Ahmadu Danjuma further applauded the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board for its strict compliance with rules and regulations during the just-concluded Hajj exercise.
