POLICE IN BAUCHI ARRESTED TWO SUSPECTS FOR CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY, THEFT.

A report was received from a concerned citizen in the Darazo Divisional Police Headquarters that two unknown individuals approached him at his garage in Kari village, inquiring about motorcycle dealers.
The two men, who were riding red Boxer Bajaj motorcycles, exhibited suspicious behavior.

Upon reception of the information, a team of detectives, led by Divisional Police Officer (DPO) SP Auwalu Ilu, promptly swung into actions and arrived at the scene where they apprehended the two suspected individuals in a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Bauchi State Police Command CSP Ahmed Wakil to thetentaclesnews.com.ng

The suspects were identified as 25-year-old Nura Yau and 25-year-old Bayero Isah, both residents of Akuyam village, Misau LGA. They confessed to have stolen the motorcycles from various locations, including Akuyam village on September 30, 2025, at Juma’at Mosque in Darazo town.

Further investigation revealed that Auwal Adamu, a 50-year-old male, is the legitimate owner of the motorcycle stolen in Darazo.

The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, directed the case to be transffered to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a detailed investigation and prosecution.

Where he urged the public to remain alert and report any suspicious activities immediately to nearby police stations, as the saying goes, “prevention is better than cure.”
