SEKURE APPOINTS 92 SPECIAL ADVISERS

The Executive Chairman of Tarauni Local Government Area in Kano State, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Sekure, has appointed Advisers (SA) in the second phase of his administration’s aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing the welfare of the people in the area.

According to the Local Government Information Officer, Adamu Iliyasu Hotoro the Chairman explained that the appointment of the new SA would help support the activities of the Local Government, particularly in critical sectors of healthcare, education, skills acquisition, environmental sanitation, commerce, motor parks, and youth development, among other sectors.

He noted that the move was designed to address the pressing needs of the people across all spheres.Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Sekure further disclosed that the appointments were made after consultations and recommendations from the ten wards of Tarauni Local Government, especially among members of the NNPP, who have been actively contributing since the inception of the administration. He emphasized that it became necessary to reward their commitment by assigning them roles that will enable them to continue advising and supporting the growth and development of the council.

The Chairman urged the appointees to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication, and accountability, while working diligently to fulfill the promises made to the people of Tarauni Local Government.

In addition, the Chairman expressed gratitude to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Commissioner for Local Government, Alhaji Tajo Othman Zaura, for their continuous support to local government leaders in delivering developmental projects. He also assured that a third phase of appointments will soon be carried out to ensure that every community within Tarauni enjoys representation, with opportunities given to both youths and elders to contribute to governance and community development.

In their separate remarks, the NNPP Chairman of Tarauni LG, Alhaji Sulaiman Muhammad Inuwa Hugan, the Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Aliyu Sani Zaki, the Leader of Councillors, Ali Idris Ali (Kauyen Alu), and the Special Adviser on Projects, Sani Usman Sani, all commended the foresight of the Chairman in selecting grassroots party loyalists from the ten wards of Tarauni for these strategic appointments.

The Director of personnel management officer of Tarauni Local government Alhaji Tijjani Madaki Gulya, pledged continued support to the Chairman to enable him to further deliver developmental projects for the benefit of the people.The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of Tarauni LG, Khalid Ayuba, Ward NNPP leaders, Councilors, and Community Members from across the area.
