Solicitor General reports for duty in the Ministry for Justice, Kano

The staff of the Kano State Ministry of Justice has warmly received the newly appointed Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Barr. Salisu Muhammad Tahir, following his official assumption of duty in a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the Ministry Najib Lawan Dambazau and made available to thetentaclesnews.com.ng

Barr. Tahir, who until his appointment was the Director,Public Prosecution in the Ministry, expressed gratitude to the management and staff for the warm reception accorded him.

While delivering Speech he promised to build on the achievements of his predecessors, emulate their dedication, and work for the collective success of the Ministry.

Barrister Tahir commended the State Governor for the confidence reposed in him through this appointment.

“I am deeply honored to assume this responsibility. I sincerely thank His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the trust and confidence reposed in me.
By Allah’s Grace, I will deliver and justify this confidence. I will strive hard to build on the foundation laid down by my predecessors, and I seek unity, cooperation, and meaningful advice from all of us to move the Ministry forward. Together, we can achieve excellence in service to the people of the State,” he said.

He emphasized the need for teamwork and mutual understanding, noting that progress in the Ministry can only be achieved through collective effort.

Described by staff as a calm, dedicated, and committed servant, Barrister Tahir was commended for his leadership qualities and seniority, which many believe will strengthen the Ministry’s operations.

He assured the entire workforce of his open-door policy and reiterated his determination to maintain harmony, professionalism, and excellence in service delivery
