Tarauni NUT Honours deserving Personalities in Education Sector

The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Tarauni Local Government Chapter, has organized a Merit Award Presentations to honour outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of education in the area.

According to the information officer in the area Adamu iliyasu Hotoro in a statement issued to thetentaclesnews.com.ng said the Chairman Nigerian Union of Teachers, Tarauni Wing Comrade Umar Rabiu, who led the event, stating that the recognition serves as a token of appreciation and a way to encourage those who are contributing towards educational growth and advancement in the community.

Comrade Umar Rabiu said, education remains the backbone of development in every society.

That is why we organized this event to express our gratitude to those who are supporting teachers and students in Tarauni and to serve as morale boosters towards encouraging others to invest heavily in the Sector

The event was attended by representatives from various Government bodies, Educational authorities, School Heads, Teachers, and other key stakeholders.

Awards and certificates of recognition were presented to notable individuals who have played pivotal roles in promoting education in the region.

Among those honoured were,the Executive Chairman of Tarauni LGA, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Sekure,the Executive Chairman of the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Yusif Kabir,the Head of the Education Department in Tarauni LGA, Comrade Bashir Muhammad Karkasara, AIG Ma’azu,Da’u Abubakar, Manager of Ado Bayero Royal city,District Heads, Village Heads, and Ward Heads from various communities within Tarauni.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Tarauni LGA, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Muhammad Sekure, commended the leadership of the NUT for identifying and honouring individuals from diverse backgrounds who are contributing to educational progress.

The Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Malam Yusif Kabir, along with the State Chairman of NUT, reaffirmed their commitments to continued collaboration with both government and non-government stakeholders to improve learning conditions and enhance the welfare of teachers in Tarauni and across Kano State.
