As part of its Students Speech and Prize-Giving Day/Graduation Ceremony, GSS Unguwar Gano in Tarauni Local Government Area honoured Hon Kabiru Dahiru Sule (ADS), Member representing Tarauni Constituency in the Kano State House of Assembly, in recognition of his exceptional support for education in the area.According to Adamu Iliyasu Hotoro, the information Officer of Tarauni Local Government, the lawmaker’s interventions in the school include:Establishment of a WAEC Examination Centre Payment of registration fees for 300 Students into Model Class students as well as Commitment to establish a JAMB CBT CentreConstruction of a modern examination hall,Provision of chairs and desks for students,Construction of a mosque within the school premises for students and the surrounding community
In his address, Hon. Kabiru Dahiru Sule (ADS) reaffirmed his dedication to educational development across all ten wards in Tarauni Local Government.
Kabiru Dahiru Sule expressed gratitude to the school management for the honour and dedicated the Certificate to His Excellency Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf in recognition of his utmost priorities to the people of Tarauni Local Government in particular and the State in general
He further pledged to scale up efforts in education, healthcare, and economic empowerment through skills acquisition—particularly targeting women and youth to promote self-reliance.
