Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf has paid an unscheduled inspection visit to the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano, to assess the progress of ongoing projects and inspect completed facilities slated for commissioning soon by the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
During the visit, the Commissioner toured several sections of the site to ensure the quality of work and and readiness for use by the public in a communication issued by Nabulisi Abubakar Kofar Na’isa, Spokeperson of the Ministry to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
Dr. Labaran expressed satisfaction with the level of progress recorded so far, commending the contractors for their dedication while urging them to maintain high standards in line accordance of contract terms which is in tandem with the vision of the present administration to restore the glory of public health facilities in Kano State.
He emphasized that the unscheduled visit was aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely delivery of projects that will enhance service delivery and improve patient care across the State.
The Commissioner reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Health and the State Government under Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf to provide a functional, accessible, and people-centered healthcare system for all residents of Kano State.
