Students of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil in Kano State, have honored the Managing Director of KAROTA, Faisal Mahmud Kabir, with an award of recognition in recognition of his selfless service to humanity.

The students took this initiative in appreciation of the Managing Director continued support for education across Kano State.

Speaking during the presentation, the Leader of the Students’ Association, Comrade Ibrahim Sharif Hashim, said the Award was meant to acknowledge the M.D tireless efforts in assisting students from different Educational Institutions across the state.

Comrade Ibrahim Hashim further explained that the Managing Director has been sponsoring students both within and outside the state up to the completion of their studies

“What impressed us most, “was how Faisal provides support without discrimination or political bias, his only concern is promoting education.”

The Students Leader also added that the KAROTA management allows staff members who have completed secondary school and wish to further their education to receive assistance.

“This is just a small part of his numerous contributions, which gave us the motivation to visit his office and honor him,” Ibrahim today said the Leader of the Students

In his remarks, the Managing Director of KAROTA, Faisal Mahmud Kabir, expressed happiness over the students’ gesture.

He emphasized that their effort was commendable, especially as part-time education is not easy due to various life challenges.

Faisal urged the students to think of creating a platform to support others who do not have the opportunity to continue their education.

“This journey of learning might seem long, but with focus and persistence, you’ll soon complete it,” he advised.

He also assured them that the Agency is ready to give them all necessary support’s and cooperation to achieve their goals.

“Make efforts to encourage youths, traders, and workers to also enroll in part-time or other educational programs,” he said.

He similarly stated that KAROTA staff who are enrolled in part-time studies will be provided with a special arrangement to help them benefit from similar opportunities.

He concluded by emphasizing that the Kano State Government top priority under Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf is the provision of quality education for all citizens, as it is the foundation for a better society.

“When people are well educated and enlightened,he said, “the whole community lives in peace and progress.
