Kaugama Youth Association has embarked upon insecticidal spraying as a surest way of preventing malaria disease in the Area.
Declaring the program open,the Chairman of the Association, Tasi:u Garba, stated that the exercise was conducted at the school, considering the harvesting season is currently over.
Some of the Areas sprayed included the Students’ Hostels, Toilets, Kitchen, and other potential mosquito hideouts within the school compound.
He further explained that, as part of the community’s contribution toward improving Healthcare in the area, the Association has carried out various exercises within Kaugama town at different times.
The Secretary of the Association, Musa Yusuf, added that the Association has carried out street naming as part of its services in memory of influential personalities who spent their life time in human development as reported by the Information Officer of the Area Alhaji Musa Muhammad to thetentaclesnews.com.ng
